Smart cities are aimed to provide more efficient infrastructure to reach sustainability, safety, and a high quality of life for its residents, making people’s lives safer and more economical. Data from connected sensors and devices are used to improve transportation, public health, utilities, services, and more.

The potential of smart cities is limitless, and then acceleration in the growth of these cities require advanced IoT platform and solutions that can handle connectivity and data handling in real time for a large number of sensors and devices, and expansive amount of data that is generated by them.

“Interactor” brings the most efficient and user-friendly environment for working with all required sensors, devices and core enterprise functionalities, enabling an end-to-end solution for any smart city solution. Interactor provides a configuration-based development environment with technology building blocks that makes it fast and easy to create and manage any application.
Anything from connectivity, data collection, data exchange, policy handling, and solution logic are included in Interactor. Additionally, Interactor advance solution logic and a rule engine can be applied to any analytics and AI/ML solution, as well as providing the northbound interface to any external application or OSS/BSS solution.


Collect Data

  • Simple integration to all monitored sensors and devices to collect data in real-time, in any format
  • Hospital equipment, smart phones, wearables.. are example of data sources
  • Monitoring can be on individual level or community level or both

Analyze, Filter and Normalize data for applications

Ex. Monitor patient health condition, relay info to doctor or staff in real-time Normalize health data with environmental factors such a temperature, pollution, allergens

Apply Policy and Solution Logic

  • Create Health Function, ex. to show/transfer all monitored data in one view, link the data to other services such as Payment, Insurance, or any other logic related to improving healthcare effectiveness and lowering healthcare cost for smart city residents. Also create a global view of the health status of community residents and insights on the relationship between city services and health provisioning
  • Based on current and historical trend, create a threshold for expected values in next monitoring period, identify and report any deviation

Application and Data Output

  • Interface to other applications, convert data to required format for northbound application, send data for storage for historical use
  • Data is stored and is available to be fetched anytime (for GUI) or get correlated to show health trend, or be used by ML application
